i’ve never actually been asked this, as far as i can remember. apparently it’s asked in job interviews a lot (never had one of those, so maybe that explains it).
if i were ever asked it, i think i’d object to it being oversimplifying, irrelevant, pointless, etc. - all of which i do actually believe - and try not to make it obvious that the thought terrifies me. i have no idea...

for about a week maybe a month or so ago, i kept getting calls asking for “mike”. “mike savage”. it wasn’t a misdial, they were actually calling my number - the problem was just that i am not mike. even odder, i had had the phone for several months before this started. eventually i asked one of the callers to get in touch with mike and ask him to straighten this out....
